My take on RG Studio 360 - Foxy Fall

For my card and project today, I've used lots of copics for my coloring. For the bear I used, E00, E11, E34, E74. next up is the feathers B01, BG18, BG23, BG32, BG34.  For the fox, I used N9, E09 and for other highlights, I used RV52 and BV000.

For a bit of texture, I ran some twine on top of my cardstock and ran it through my die cutting machine. My star got a little extra touch with a bit of color from Altenew and a large wax brush.
Some additional touches here and there, like printed paper, washi, and twine!

For the treat box, I did a simple 6x6 piece of gray cardstock (sample in white) and scored at every 2 inches once, then turned my cardstock and repeated the scoring. Once I had those done, I scored from corner to corner twice.  Here are some images to help you make one.

I used the small sitting Fox on my box along with the Give Thanks sentiment.
With matching printed paper, and washi from my card these two would make the perfect gift set.
I just love how cute they turned out.

Hope from Altenew

When the new collection for March came out from Altenew, I knew I had to have this stamp set! It's one of those super easy to use for any skill level and is so beautiful you've just got to have it kind of stamp sets!

The colors I went with is Shades of Purple and Pocket of Sunshine, along with touches of black.

I love how lovely it turned out, especially with the Hope die cut from the matching die set, and the sentiment of course!  I can't wait to see what else I come up with the new release!
I also used a Hero Arts  Sunshine Mixed Folded Cards and a layer of black cardstock, along with enamel dots to complete my project.

I know I share this news with my Facebook friends, had to reshare on my blog!
Yup, I finished level 1 and am currently working on my level 2 in the Altenew Educator Certification Program!

On a personal note: Bill and I drove to Az last week (from Oregon) to check out the area we have been looking for a new home at! Will keep everyone updated on the search and we plan to put our house on the market very soon.

Thanks again for stopping by

A little love

Its been a lot a fun getting to this point and
I'd thought I would share on my blog versus just posting it to IG.

Here is my final project for level 1 of the AECP.

It is a really simple design, that I loved when I finished it!
However, it wasn't the first card I made, it was my second.

Here's my first design

It has everything I wanted in a card, bling from the Gold Foil cardstock die cut with the Leafy Garland Die, lots of beautiful roses from the Vintage Roses stamp set, lots of bold colors from the Red Cosmos with some Jet Black for that deep shadow color, along with the Forest Glades in a single layer for the leaves. I added a touch of black spray in a splatter and added a few green enamel dots as a finishing touch.  The sentiment made me think of our upcoming 15th anniversary in May.  Alas, it was not my final pick!

When it came time to pick my submission, it was easy! The beautiful softness of the Flower Flurries washi tape, along with the Gold B from the Bold Caps Alphabet Die and theVintage Roses sentiment made me wish Altenew was around when we got married, I felt a kinship to it, and naturally, it was the one. Fussy cutting, layering and enjoying the crafty life I live!

I went with simple designs, it's my style of cardmaking, and having the best products didn't hurt!
I'm so glad that I started on this adventure, and I am looking forward to taking even more classes from Altenew.

I want to thank everyone who supported me during this time, as many of you know I've been in the process of packing up my house to move, and it's been hard knowing that I would have to limit my creativity in order to pack the crafty space... I have one more live to do and then I won't be back until after the rest of the house has sold! I will miss everyone... but I promise I will be back as soon as I can with crafty goodness in hand, and enabling ready!

Until next time
