FMS#255 Lookin' Sharp

Challenge crafty goodness to share today!
Put this together this morning for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge!
I used Whip Cream as my base along with Oatmeal Cookie, and some Corrugated cardstock!
I grabbed my Deer Freinds Stamp set, from my Bloom Box and a couple of my Zig Watercolors to coloring in my little owl!  As an embellishment, I added a few of my homemade glaze dots with gold silk background! That's it... super simple!

CYCI#138 A Shaker Challenge

Hey, I'm back! Got me some awesome crafty goodness!
I've gone batty with our shaker challenge this week at CanYouCaseIt?

I started by stamping the sentiment from Candy Monster all over on my Whip Cream cs in Limeaid Splash and River Stone inks. Next, I grabbed some cardstock in Brush Silver,  Black Licorice, and of course Whip Cream!  For the BOO I used Limeade Splash to match the ink! To create the bat I used my Tag Set die (steel ruled) , along with the Snapshot Frames dies. I cut the super cute bat and added some acetate to build my shaker! I added some Slice-Fetti and Confetti Sparkle Elements Lemon Grass for the bits! For my finishing touches, I paired Black Licorice Sparkle Ribbon with Whip Cream Thread and a few Journey Sequins Special Celebration!

I hope you will join us this week!

Until next time

Fall Family Card

First I wanted to share the live cast I did for this card on facebook!

Here is my finished card and the products I used!

I started by grabbing my Snapshot Frames dies from Fun Stampers Journey; I love being a coach and getting a 20% discount all the time!  I also used the Autumn Prints, cardstock in Dark Roast Oatmeal Cookie, Butter Cream, and Tangerine Fusion!  I used Pineapple Smoothie, Orange Creamsicle, and Pomegranate Splash inks for adding color to my Fall sentiment and leaves dies.
For a final touch, I added a bit of natural twine and Gold Silk.
Pulling the layers together was a blast, adding a pic of Bill, William, and I just made this card that more special!

I hope that you will take a moment and visit my shop at

WWC84

Water Cooler Wednesday challenge has an awesome sketch and I told Heidi I'd give it a try!
So here I am better late than never. :) Here we go!

I broke out the Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers in various colors and when to work on coloring my harvest stamp, and selected a sentiment from Thanksgiving Traditions from Fun Stampers Journey!
Up next, I chose the items for my layers and picked two ribbons and a print for the added layer and to frame out my coloring.  I used some bonbon sequins from Doodlebug for a finishing touch!

I just found out I won!! WOOHOO!!!

I hope you will check out WWC too!

Until next time

CYCI#137

We survived the first week of Homeschool (which is actually online school) and I am excited to see how next week is going to go! Butter is in Middle school now and has seven different instructors, one for each subject plus homeroom! The grands are all back to school as well!

Let's get this party started!

Amber selected the CYCI colors this week and I was so excited to give them a try!
I busted out my FSJ products: I used River Stone for the Gray,  Sweet Berry for Flamingo and Ken Oliver Chartreuse! I used two different stamp sets to get what I was looking for, with Damask Print as my main image and a sentiment from Creature Comforts.
I created a couple of small banners for layering, and tada, I have a smashing design!

I hope you have a wonderful week

Until next time
