CYCI#62 Designers Choice

Hey look CYCI has been redesigned, with a great new look!

My card is so me!!!  I hope you enjoy it....
I've made flower petals out of linen thread, and two types of adhesives!

First I started by attaching each of the petals with TomBow liquid, large then medium and finally small. I cut my linen thread for the biggest petal,
I used a piece of linen thread from one bend to the next or about 4 3/4 inches, 3 1/2 for the middle size, and 2 inches for the smallest petals.  I folded them in half, and pushed them into the Tombow glue, and repeated the steps! Oh I started on the outside... and worked my way in.  Once I'd gotten all the way around my flower, I put Crystal Effects and let it dry, I did the flower directly on Kraft cardstock, and added a layer of Basic Black for interest.

Finally I added my sentiment from Unity Stamp Company in Memento Black and waited... for a day for the adhesives to dry completely and wound up adding two more layers of glues before it looked the way I wanted it too. I hope you love my card!

Thanks for droppin' by
Eva
