lemonade shaker card

What a wonderful weekend! Lots of my friends stopped by the blog and left love (comments) and tons of fun stuff happening over at CYCI too.. this week we've got in colors (or like colors) challenge!  On to today's project!!! So I got my order today... from Lawn Fawn (Amazon) with the cutest stamps and dies you've ever seen!!

So I started by doing the new Make Lemonade stamps and dies. I stamped my images in Memento Black on my SSS 120# white cardstock, then of course I went to work coloring them with my Alcohol markers from Spectrum Noir and ran them through my big shot!  I also pulled out my stitched rectangle dies from Simon Says Stamp with my AC Amy Tangerine paper pad. Okay... so now onto the dets about my shaker.. I've got a combo of Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh and Doodlebug... and a few lemons. Finally I added a tiny bow in white twine to finish off the card!

okay... so its Saturday.. and late or early depending on how you're looking at it.. its 12:31 am and while I thought I was tired enough to go to sleep... I found myself wide awake and back at my crafty space.... after checking a few things, I started looking at challenges... I mean really what else can a crafty person do at 12:31 am ... anyway here's what I've come up with I hope you like it

I recently picked up some bottle cap crafty stuffs and when I saw the sketch and saw that it said any shape... well now that got me thinking! I could do a necklace for a child who's had a bad day... with a keepsake gift, the bear stamp Circle Friends from Simon Says Stamp in a bottle cap! I've a few layers of craftiness from Doodlebug paper pad and some cardstock from Stampin' Up!  I threw in some Wink of Stella as a splatter in the background... and added three beetle black sequin from Doodlebug to finish it off!

It was super fun and so quick and easy to make this card... that I have no doubt would make the day of any child having a bad day!

Well, Butter and I are working on finishing 5th grade this summer, and he is finally back to his old self, after having strep last week. I'm really gearing up for my vacation and yes CONVENTION too...  Can you tell that I am excited... its only 28 days away... or 4 weeks and I am so ready to catch up with the gals, and do some major craftiness! Oh well.. I guess I'd better get on to today's post

Today I'm back at Paper Craft Crew with a sketch that is amazing!
Pam is an incredible sketch artist and paper crafter!

I broke out the Kraft cardstock, which is so much fun to work with... I don't know why but I am totally into the greens and browns lately!  Of course Whisper White is always included!
I've got some flower punches, a On Film die, candy dots in Regals, and linen thread!
Friendly Wishes is my stamp today!  Also used was basic black, Old Olive ink, cardstock, Memento Black ink and a splash of Wink of Stella (non SU). My kraft card base is 5" by 5".
I hope you like my card and thanks for stoppin' by

I wonder what life would be without cards, stamps... paper and ink...  BORING!!! and I can't have that!

So I went to the Unity Stamps that I have set aside... and dug out one of the newest arrivals... so heres what I put together... a simple quick card

I used some note cards I have along with a piece of Amy Tangerine paper
and Unity Stamp Co. Her Own Hero stamp...
I also added some Clear Sequins from Pretty Pink Posh!!!
The Crumb Cake ink is from Stampin' Up! and some twine from AC...

PCCCS149 A Sketch Challenge

Welcome back.. today I'm over at Paper Craft Crew

So what do you think? Stampin' Up! has some awesome new products and I'm so happy to share my card with you today! I started with the Garden in Bloom stamp set along with the new 100lbs whisper white cardstock and some daffodil delight, and basic black. I added to accents to my card, the Black ribbon is retired and it was the last little bit I had, but prefect for the card! The second is a Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers that I added some white thin thread that I coiled to give it a bit of ta-da!
My card has a splatter of wink of stella over it.  I used both Memento Black and Daffodil Delight inks.

I hope you've enjoyed my card today... and don't forget to click on the PCCCS sketch to check out the challenge this week.

PCCC148 A sketch challenge

Welcome back... today's sketch is fab! You are so gonna wanna be a part of this!

Well its been another interesting week, so glad I did my card earlier... got my new order from Stampin' Up! and all my new goodies were awesome!!! Butter has finished up the first half of 5th grade, and summer vacation has officially started for him... a few days earlier than his friends! He has books to read and we plan to finish the rest of (if not most of) 5th grade this summer (in the mornings)... so that when he goes back in the fall... he will be a 6th grader!!! WOOHOO... his continued hard work is paying off!

My card is super quick... I've got several layers and a movement of spring to summer.. well at least in Oregon anyway.. from Brown to green! and I love it!!!
I've got the Balloon Framelits as my focal point, the You did it from the Bravo stamp set. As you can see I used the new DSP Stack "Cherry On Top" for my flags and layering behind the Crumb Cake cardstock... I also have some Whisper White and Early Espresso in there as well.
I've used some Cucumber Crush on the balloon, and Early Espresso on the sentiment. Directly behind the first balloon I've got some CC cardstock!

Well I'm glad you stopped by.. until next time

CYCI#73 A Color Challenge!

Its Sunday!!! And that can only mean one thing its time for another CYCI challenge!!!
We've got some colors that really can pack a wallup!

So I've been working on the end of the school year stuff with Butter which is weird, cause he's in the middle of a grade! So we are going to work on finishing 5th grade this summer, and hopefully he will be done, and move forward with 6th in the fall!  He has a few revisions to do before the tuesday, to bring his grade up in English but he has outstanding grades overall!

Enough of that.. lets get to business! lol...

I decided to go with a Birthday Card for my project this week.
I am so loving how my card turned out. I've got I cardbase in Sahara Sand, I thought this was the warmest color and great for a cardbase! Then I've got layers of Basic Black and Whisper White, on the WW layer, I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in Blushing Bride, which give me that speckled look.  Then I stamped my star topped candles from Big News in Memento Tuxedo Black, and Blushing Bride Stampin' Write Marker, to take the BB to the next level. At this point I went to the Happy layer which is a die from Die-namics called Celebrate (it comes with 4 dies) in both Sahara Sand (in the background) and Basic Black for the top layer. The step on my card was the Birthday stamp from Celebrate Today.

Overall I'm very happy with the finished project!
I hope you'll enjoy it too
I wanna thank Justin for the fantastic color picks!
