Big News - Awesomeness

Well today has been exciting... I get to amend my taxes... yeah me!!! lol...
But I also had a chance to get to my desk and craft a bit...
While I was sick I got a couple of packages and one was from Stampin' Up! and one from Amazon... you gotta love 2 day shipping!
Any way... I got the Big News stamp set from SU.... and I've been in love with it since the 2014-2015 catty came out.. but the price was a factor.... so for Terri's club this month I decided to get it, cause you never know right? Its mine and I'm never gonna let it go! (Hoarder) LMAO!

I started by stampin' it in Memento Ink (tuxedo black) on WW and added a bit of Tangelo Twist into the lettering to take it to the next level!  Then I went to my Flower Pot Designers Series Paper which I got from a share last summer from Brian!! Love that!
And I used my Doodlebug sequins and AC hemp thread that I got from Amazon. Thanks Justin for educating me!! lol..  The man knows his embellishments!

PPA245 a Sketch Challenge

So finally starting to feel better, and nothing is better than making a card.... so when I saw PPA sketch this week... I was thinking.. I so need to do this, and get me back to normal!!! Nicole Watt designed the sketch, which is awesome, and interesting!

While I adjusted the sketch to fit my idea, I think it turned out fabulously!!! I started by stamping on Whisper White with Crumb Cake in the En Francais and the Positively Chevron in Lost Lagoon, stamped off to lighten the color...  I have a back layer of Crumb Cake cardstock, and Wishing die in LL as well. I chose the Sweet Dreams buttons, and some hemp twine as my embellishments to complete my card!
I hope you like it.. I used mostly Stampin' Up! and added the Wishing die from Simon Says Stamp.

For my Erica - Grad Cards

We'll I'm back today with a girly card!!!
My baby Girl Eric Marie.. just graduated from College, after going part time for a while!
Yeppers my first college graduate!!!

I embossed the Class of 2015 stamp with Melon Mambo embossing powder on Whisper White and Basic Black (back layer) ran it through the big shot with the Oval Collection framelits. I didn't have any MM ribbon, so I made some using my reinker (love them) and Whisper White Satin Ribbon. I added a few rhinestones, tied my bow and the card is complete!

ssink contraband day

SSINK
Today is my Amanda's (my oldest girl) Birthday.... and I had to make a card that was fun... and cute!
So I went straight to my Simon Says Stamp stash

I started with my oh so cute circle friends stamp set from Simon says Stamp!
Then of course I went right back to Stampin' Up! products for layers and my cardbase! The base is in Daffodil Delight with Whisper White and Basic Black layers. I used So Saffron and Memento Inks.
For my smaller details I took out my Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers in BGR1 for the wings, True Black for the body and CT3 & CT4 to finish off the body... then gave it a layer of Wink of Stella in Clear.
Thanks for stoppin' by Eva :)

SSINK Masculine Monday

I busted out the Snuggles and Smooches for the rockin' doodles on whisper white cardstock and inked them in So Saffron, then for the sentiment I went with Lovely Amazing You... in Memento Black. Added a basic black card base and some black bakers twine to complete it!

Paper Players 237 LeAnne's Sketch Challenge

Hope your weekend was great! I know mine was! While I was making the card, I was doing Skype with Justin, and then on Hangouts with Tammy... and keeping an eye on Facebook... ahh multitasking!
So LeAnne has got an awesome sketch for us over at the Paper Players this week!

I went through my stamps and (finally) decided on Circle Friends from Simon Says Stamp, along with my Circle Collection framelits from Stampin' Up!  I used my Chocolate Chip ink on the stamps and So Saffron for the circle background stamps.  I used Chocolate Chip behind the top layer, Whisper White for my card base, Daffodil Delight and Hello Honey for my little banners.
I added the embellishments last, and used some Whisper White Bakers Twine.. A button from the Regals collection and some sequins from Doodlebug!

Thats it, I hope you like my card today... its so cute!!

CYCI#62 Designers Choice

Hey look CYCI has been redesigned, with a great new look!

My card is so me!!!  I hope you enjoy it.... I've made flower petals out of linen thread, and two types of adhesives!

First I started by attaching each of the petals with TomBow liquid, large then medium and finally small. I cut my linen thread for the biggest petal,
I used a piece of linen thread from one bend to the next or about 4 3/4 inches, 3 1/2 for the middle size, and 2 inches for the smallest petals.  I folded them in half, and pushed them into the Tombow glue, and repeated the steps! Oh I started on the outside... and worked my way in.  Once I'd gotten all the way around my flower, I put Crystal Effects and let it dry, I did the flower directly on Kraft cardstock, and added a layer of Basic Black for interest.
Finally I added my sentiment from Unity Stamp Company in Memento Black and waited... for a day for the adhesives to dry completely and wound up adding two more layers of glues before it looked the way …

FMS178 - Sketch by Narrelle

Love the simple sketch Narelle did over at Freshly Made Sketches!

For my card I used the Project Life by Stampin' Up! Little Moments Card Collection and Accessory Pack, along with Circle Collection of Framelits. I used bits from the kits to create my take on the sketch, including Wood Elements and Sequins and Candy Dots. My card is on a So Saffron cardbase with Whisper White layering and the 2013-2015 In Color Background DSP Stack, in Pistachio Pudding polka dots. Linen Thread was added to complete the look with the diaper pins (wood elements) from Little Moments.
I hope you enjoyed my card today! Thanks for stoppin' by Eva

Beautiful friday

Just another beautiful friday in Oregon...
I've got my fav Doodlebug sequins and some awesome Stampin' Up! products on my card today!
I started with a Whisper White cardbase and the Flower Patch stamp set.
I added layers of Kraft, Wisteria Wonder, and Whisper White as my top layer where I've stamped on.
The stamps edges are muted, by doing a tap twist while stamping off a bit of the wisteria wonder ink.
I completed the sentiment in Memento Ink.
and for my finishing touch, you guessed it Wink of Stella Clear!

Thanks for stoppin' by today
I hope its lovely where you are too...

Simply Wonderful

Had some time this evening while chatting with Laura and Tammy... OMS (Oh My Science: My Daughter DeDee came up with this because I don't like the kids saying the lords name like that) Had an interesting day, working with Butter on school work, and redoing a couple of assignments that he took short cuts on, but he is learning that short cuts don't always save him time. I like life lessons like that!
Here's my card of the day!
Kraft and Whisper White cardstock,  Linen Thread, and a retired button! For my sentiment I used the Simply Wonderful from Stampin' Up! Sale-A-Bration 2015
Happy Hump Day! Eva

Mojo Monday #389

So yesterday was very interesting and it seems no matter how much I want things to go easy they always seem to be much harder than they have to be.... case in point: one of my favorite shows wasn't on! BAH!!! Ah well... network television is what it is!

PP236 Clean and Simple Floral Challenge

So good morning all... today I'm at the Paper Players and their Clean and Simple challenge.
Its Florals!!!
I love clean and simple cards... they may look easy... but its all in the planning of these kind of cards. I've got a few friends who are marvelous at Clean cards, Audrey, Shannon, and yes Justin too!
Here's what I've come up with...

I kinda worked backwards on this a bit... and had to think (plan) a bit more than I usually do, lol.  But I got there in the end. My design is clean and simple.. I stamped the Regarding Dahlias in Rich Razzleberry on Whisper White cardstock. Then I ran it through the big shot with the Stitched Rectangles from Simon Says I laid out my cardstock... and picked up the middle to add adhesive. Then I picked up the outta frame area (ww) and added dimensionals to it to pop it up! Then came the ribbon....Whisper White Satin Ribbon. I finished the rest of the layers and threw in a few sequins

here's a close up! :)
I hope you love it... I d…

Butter is off with the girls while I try to get better and Gus.. well he's Gus, such is a dogs life!
He hasn't left my side much today... now thats loyalty!
My CYCI card for this week is anything but St. Paddy's day themed... I love all the pretty pink, with vellum flowers and I wouldn't have it any other way! I started by backing my SPV with Whisper White cardstock! Pink Pirouette card base and the Hello from Hello You thinlits was next on Basic Black, in the licorice technique by Justin Krieger! Finished off with a bit of Black bakers twine a…
