Peace on Earth

Well, I started looking at a few of the things I haven't used yet, that I picked up from Fun Stampers Journey!  So here's what I made!

I started with the stamp set, Oh Holy! I stamped it in Black Licorice and then used the matching dies to cut it out with my Journey Platinum!  Next, I went to work on changing up the color on the snowflake from Snowflake Elements, from a pinkish color to a snow like white, using my Whip Cream ink pad, letting it dry a bit then going back over, I dabbed it with the backside of a paper towel to help the drying process.  I also ran my rectangle/piercing dies using the second largest.  I pulled several colors of cardstock together as well, pomegranate splash, whip cream, and oatmeal cookie. I added a bit of color with my Sweet Pear ink and started putting my layers together. I laid it all out and trimmed the bottom part of the snowflake off.  Then I added some Silver silk, and BL thread with one of the super duper cute bell, from the Mini Jingles…

Monster Frame Shaker

Good morning... I"m back with a monster, a shaker and a whole lot of fun!

I started by cutting the frame from the Snapshot Frames die set in Black Licorice!
Then I moved on to the Bat, and Boo! My Bat was Whip Cream cardstock, which I colored with my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, in PL5 which is a dark/deep purple and Boo in Tangerine Fusion cardstock. I covered the bat with a Spectrum Sparkle clear glitter pen!

Next, I started coloring my Candy Monster with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, in various colors of orange, gray and fluorescent yellow (PL3) and orange (PL2).  To finish it off, I colored the background in PL5 and True Black. I added some sequins "special celebration which is a silver sequin in several sizes and Lemon Grass Confetti Sparkle Elements.
I added a piece of bright green fun foam to build up the space for the shaker bits!

Here's a pic with some of the products from Fun Stampers Journey!

SIP#61 Tic Tac Toe Challenge featuring Reverse Confetti

Hello and good morning!
My day started like any other... grands showed up shortly after 5:30 am PT. I put them back to bed for a bit... then I got a vid call from Andrea over facebook, we chatted for a bit and that's when she told me that SIP has a new tic tac toe challenge! WOOHOO... Got right to work, meanwhile, the hubby got home, the grands woke up and had breakfast... and now they are happily watching the cartoons, while I write up my post! :) Butter has a dental appointment today, but other than that, I'm just kickin' back during my break from school! :) I love my life!!!

So here's what I did... Using my new RC products that I picked up from Justin over at the Stamp Ink Paper Store in NY (gotta love phone orders).

The first item is the totally cute; Lift me up and the celebrations stamp sets! I did a quick ZIG watercolor wash, in Green. Next, I stamped my sentiment and heat embossed it in Black on vellum!
For the stripe, I added a bit of Sunshine & Happiness pri…

Just a little something I did this morning...

I actually started this card off by coloring the Carved Flourish (Bloom Benefit) with my Silver Silk, then covered it in J. Glaze. While that was drying I went to work to pull off the other elements together. :)
Happy moments!

Here's what I used

`Tis the Season Prints
Vellum Designer Prints
Cranberry Bliss Cardstock
Silver Silk
Cranberry Bliss Silk
Whip Cream Cardstock
Tags Set
Pretty Flakes stamp set & Dies
Holiday Script stamp set
Black Licorice Ink
Whip Cream Ink
Journey Glaze
Holiday Elements J. Sequins
J. White Liner tape
J. Craft Glue
Whip Cream Thread

After lots of drying time, I finally put it all together!

That's it...

That moment when you step back and look at everything together.. I noticed that the squiggle at the end of Joy... runs into Flourish... sometimes things just fall into place....

Until next time

Hey, I'm back with CYCI today and a fun color challenge!

I kept my design clean and simple! Got just a few of my favorite sprinkles from Doodlebug in bright Yellow and Green from the Boys Collection. Along with some Silks from Fun Stampers Journey in Sour Lemon and Electric Lime.
The star of the show is the sentiment from Happy Sentiments :) from FSJ! I covered over the hearts are with a small strip of Pineapple Smoothie, and covered it in J. Glaze. The Whip Cream cardbase it the perfect setting for the simple design!

I hope you will visit Can You Case It? this week and join in on the fun!
Until next time

FSJ Fabulous Flannel Fun

I'm back with a really cool card, made with pan pastels from Fun Stampers Journey!
I've included links directly to each of the products I've use! :) Enjoy!

Gold Pan Pastel in the background along with the Flannel Life stamp set! :) I used pigment ink pad on the background stamp first, then tapped the gold pan pastel on, until I had the entire cardstock covered! :) IRL it's just gorgeous! :) Super shimmery, and so soft!

Next, I started adding layers
I added some plain vellum which is in the Vellum Designer Prints pack, then selected a print from the Autumn Prints pack from the holiday mini.

For my final touches, I used my Tags Set, which is a steel rule die! Along with the Thanksgiving Traditions stamp set and finally the beautiful Oatmeal Cookie Organza ribbon!

The Gold Pan Pastel has tons of shimmery goodness, that I didn't feel the need to add anything else!

Until next time
